White Mountain Elementary School is the Ruidoso facility for the third, fourth and fifth grade children of the district. With its campus located next to Sierra Vista Primary, this school sees regular classroom teachers delivering reading, math, language arts, spelling, social studies and science curricula to the children. Each student's individual needs receive recognition and are addressed through the creative efforts of dedicated teachers.

Ably assisted by Subject Area Assistants in Music, Art, Science, Physical Education, Computer Lab, Library, Bilingual Program, Speech, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Inclusion Classes, Instructional Support Programs, Chapter I Reading and Bilingual Education, the faculty and administration offer a well rounded and comprehensive program for the students.
